A father who has spent his career fighting drugs watches his son become engulfed by them in Amazon Prime Video Brazilian original Dom, a crime drama inspired by the true story of a father and son on opposite sides of the war on drugs in Rio de Janeiro.

The show follows Victor (Flavio Tolezani), once a young diver who becomes a military intelligence agent and embraces the war on drugs as his life mission. Over the years, he becomes disillusioned by the endless war, and even more so when he watches his own son, Pedro (Gabriel Leone), succumb to the enemy he tirelessly fought against: cocaine. Besides becoming an addict, Pedro also grows into one of Rio’s most wanted criminals—Pedro Dom—and it is his father’s job to both hunt him down and keep him safe.

Also starring in the series are Filipe Bragança, Raquel Villar, Isabella Santoni, Ramon Francisco, Digão Ribeiro, Fabio Lago, Julia Konrad and André Mattos. Dom is directed by Vicente Kubrusly and Breno Silveira, who also leads the writing team, which includes Fabio Mendes, Higia Ikeda, Carolina Neves and Marcelo Vindicatto. The series is produced by Renata Brandão and Ramona Bakker from Conspiração. Antonio Pinto composed the soundtrack.

Dom premieres exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in more than 240 territories around the world on June 4.
