Only one week after Fox Chair Kevin Reilly announced his departure, Bloomberg is reporting that Turner is seriously considering the entertainment exec to take over as its new president.

Reilly, formerly entertainment chairman at Fox, announced last week that he will leave the company at the end of June. He had been with Fox since 2007, leaving after a ratings decline and an initiative to change pilot season at the broadcast nets.

According to Bloomberg, he could become the new president of Turner Entertainment Networks if Time Warner decides to continue deliberations. This would put Reilly in charge of TBS, TNT, truTV, TCM and Cartoon Network.

Currently he is among as many as 20 executives in the industry being considered for the position, coming in to replace Steve Koonin, who left Turner after a 14-year stint at the company to act as CEO of the Atlanta Hawks basketball team.
