MTV’s Teen Wolf and ABC Family’s Stitchers go above and beyond the call for online episode recaps, enlisting help from fans for weekly recaps involving rapping teens and sci-fi action figures.

TCM Rebrands with Tagline ‘Let’s Movie’
Turner announced at its upfront presentation this May that it plans on rebranding TBS by the end of the year, but its sister network TCM seems to be beating it to the punch. Launching Sept. 1, TCM’s new brand will fall under its tagline “Let’s Movie.”

Marketing Opportunities Abound for Season 21 Cast of DWTS
Once again, ABC’s reality competition Dancing with the Stars has recruited a list of, er, celebrities looking for fame, recognition or just general awareness that they’re still around. Some of this year’s crop of dancers are looking to secure athletic endorsements, some have new books out and one is just Gary Busey.

MTV VMAs Break Twitter Record:
Miley, Kanye, Nicki and Justin (Bieber, not Timberlake, for the record) made Twitter history on Sunday at MTV’s 2015 VMAs, becoming the most-tweeted non-sports program since 2011, when Nielsen Social began tracking TV-related Twitter activity. More than 2 million people posted almost 22 million tweets throughout the three-hour awards show, spiking with Kanye’s speech at 10:50 p.m. that ended in his announcement that he’s running for president in 2020.

Scripps Goes TV Everywhere with Targeted Ads:
Partnering with OTT platform provider Anvato and its Media Content Platform, HGTV, Food Network, Travel Channel, Cooking Channel, and DIY Network can now offer live-streaming for authenticated viewers and dynamic ad insertion for advertisers on the channels’ websites, iOS and Android apps.
