Well, we didn’t get a week without Trump, but the media spotlight seemed to migrate elsewhere. Mostly to lurid stories about Josh Duggar’s use of cheater’s web site Ashley Madison and Jared Fogle the Subway guy’s extremely questionable/probably illegal dating practices.

Meanwhile, media stocks continued to melt down, and analysts got increasingly nervous about the stability of traditional media business models.

TruthCo’s Linda Ong wondered if it’s time to just admit reality and move past the standard 30-second spot.

On the much lighter side of things, VH1 and The Uprising Creative partnered to create a fun online game to promote VH1’s wacky dating show, Dating Naked.

And AMC got ready for the premiere of its much-hyped companion series, Fear the Walking Dead.

As always, we leave you with one of our favorite Hot Spots from the week, which should get you thinking about lazy lattes in bed with the Sunday New York Times.
