June is almost upon us, which means summer vacation pretty much everywhere except for TV world.

Charter to Buy Time Warner Cable in Deal Valued at $78.7 Billion:
Charter Communications announced Tuesday it will buy Time Warner Cable in a deal valued at $78.7 billion, valuing TWC at $195.71 per share.
The move makes Charter the country’s second-largest pay-TV company in the country.

The Conference 2015: Doug Herzog:
Viacom’s Doug Herzog spoke to Brief about great TV concepts (Key & Peele, Inside Amy Schumer, Lip Sync Battle), the role of linear television networks and the power of TV content. Herzog will join PromaxBDA: The Conference as a keynote speaker June 9.
