HBO Reveals Standalone Streaming Service:
Go tell your roommate’s mom that come 2015, you won’t have to use her HBO GO password anymore. HBO announced this week that its popular app will be available for non-subscribers, and the next day CBS followed suit, unveiling its own live-streaming platform, CBS All Access.

Turner Gives Boomerang a Family-Focused Global Rebrand:
Boomerang will become “the network for kids and families” in Turner’s channel overhaul that began in Latin American territories in September and continues throughout the next year.
HOT SPOT: ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 5 Show Open:
AMC’s hit series came back Sunday with a vengeance, with a little help from LA-based agency yU+co.
