According to The Wall Street Journal today, streaming giant Hulu is in talks with leading pay-TV providers to bundle its premium service, Hulu Plus, in future subscription packages.
In a move that follows Netflix‘s footsteps, Hulu wants its premium service to be available for customers through bundled television packages. The potential deal also could help pay-TV providers by enticing customers to bundle their live television with their on-demand streaming content.
Pay-TV leaders Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications and Verizon are in talks with Hulu now, according to the Journal.
Hulu currently claims more than four million paid customers, and recently launched its latest original series “The Wrong Mans.”
