In this latest spot for Gatorade’s “For the Love of Sports” campaign, the brand teams with TBWA\Chiat\Day and Moonbot Studios for this ethereal piece that briefly tells the life story of star sprinter Usain Bolt.
Gatorade has an extremely light touch throughout, appearing only at the beginning, toward the end (on a bottle) and, ingeniously, as the lightning bolt coming off of Bolt’s shoes as he sprints through the clouds to gold.
Gatorade took a similar approach in the spot below, which features athletes being inspired by someone as tough as they are: their younger selves.
