Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson once again leads teams of kid dancers in the “Dance Break” as he hosts Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Sports Awards for the second year in a row.
Creative agency Definition 6 has worked with Nickelodeon for the past decade on its annual Kids’ Choice Awards show, and maintained that partnership with the network launched the Kids’ Choice Sports Awards in 2014.
Definition 6’s Dan O’Sullivan composed the music for this second promo, “Drop That Slime” (below).
“I took dialogue from the show to create the ‘lyrics’ for the song and then tailored the music so we could match the energy and action of the Kids Choice Sports awards show,” O’Sullivan said.
The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Sports Awards 2016 airs Sunday, July 17 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
