ESPN now presents “The Most Interesting Golfer in the World,” a man who carries three wedges in his bag: a pitching wedge, a sand wedge and a wedge of cheese to pair with his wine.
As beer ad and pro golfer promotion collide, the new spot is to promote ESPN’s coverage of the U.S. Open and comes from Miguel Angel Jimenez taking Twitter by storm at The Masters this year, earning the moniker of “The Most Interesting Golfer in the World.” ESPN released a similar promo last year, inspired by Dos Equis, for the British Open:
