HBO dominated the nominations for the 71st Emmy Awards, nabbing 137 nominations for series like Chernobyl, Sharper Objects, Veep, Barry and, most notably, Game of Thrones.

Despite a controversial final season, Game of Thrones scored 32 nominations, setting the record for the most nominations for a series in a single year. NYPD Blue previously held the honor with 27 nominations in 1994.

In addition to its eighth nomination for outstanding drama series, notable nominations include Kit Harington for lead actor, Emilia Clarke for lead actress and eight supporting actor/actress nominations, including first-time nominee Sophie Turner. Since Game of Thrones debuted in 2011, the drama has earned 160 Emmy nominations, with 47 wins to date.

HBO also broke its own record for most nominees in a single year, as Chernobyl scored 19—the most for a limited series—and Barry landed 17, becoming the second most-nominated comedy behind Amazon Prime Video’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (20).

Netflix, which topped HBO last year, came in second with 117 nominations. Ava Duvernay’s When They See Us (16), Russian Doll (13), Our Planet (10), Ozark (9) and Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé (6) are among Netflix’s top nominees.

Other shows that secured multiple nominations include NBC’s Saturday Night Live (18) and FX’s limited series, Fosse/Verdon (17). RuPaul’s Drag Race also garnered 14 nominations—the most for any series in VH1’s history.

Billy Porter, who portrays MC Pray Tell in FX’s Pose, joins Harington, Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul), Jason Bateman (Ozark), Sterling K. Brown (This is Us), and Milo Ventimiglia (This is Us) in the lead actor in a drama series category. Porter is the first openly gay black actor to be nominated for the category.

Mandy Moore also received her first nomination for her role in This Is Us, joining Clarke, Robin Wright (House of Cards), Viola Davis (How to Get Away with Murder), Jodie Comer (Killing Eve), Sandra Oh (Killing Eve) and Laura Linney (Ozark) in the lead actress category.

The 2019 Primetime Emmy Awards will air Sept. 22 on Fox. Check out the FULL LIST of this year’s nominees.
