HBO’s The White Lotus, Mike White’s six-episode social satire that skewered rich white people staying in an exclusive resort in Maui, was somewhat of a surprise hit last July. Starring Jennifer Coolidge, Natasha Rothwell, Steve Zahn, Connie Britton, Jake Lacy, Alexandra Daddario, Murray Bartlett, Sydney Sweeney, Brittany O’Grady and more, the show is nominated for 20 Emmys, with mentions for most of its main cast.

For season two, The White Lotus moves to a new luxurious location – the Four Seasons San Domenico Palace in Sicily’s exclusive resort town of Taormina. Most of the cast is changing out for season two, although Coolidge’s miserable jet-setter is back for more.
The above teaser promo features Coolidge in a testimony spot for The White Lotus’ VIP membership experience, called “Blossom Circle.” Much like Maui in season one, the camera sweeps lovingly over Sicily’s seascapes, making anyone with a travel bug yearn to board a plane for Italy.
As the quick :30 teaser concludes, a website address – thewhitelotusresorts.com – appears. Typing it into a browser sends the user to HBO’s White Lotus site, where they can learn more about the show.
Season two of the anthology series – starring Coolidge, Aubrey Plaza, Theo James, F. Murray Abraham, Michael Imperioli and more – will debut on HBO in October.
