Apple TV got a boost this week with the addition of the HBO GO, WatchESPN, Sky News and Crunchyroll channels.
As many rejoice to the inclusion of HBO GO, note that only US customers get access to those “True Blood” episodes. Sky News so far is accessible in the US, UK and Ireland.
These apps, as well as Crunchyroll’s anime programming and music-focused Qello are now in the Apple TV lineup with fellow channels Netflix, Hulu Plus, Vimeo, YouTube and Flickr.

Brief Take: Apple has sold 13 million Apple TVs to date, according to CEO Tim Cook, and these moves demonstrate the company intends for the number to rise a lot higher.
