When it was time to start up the promo machine for season six of Hallmark’s Good Witch, the channel and its chosen agency, Culver City, Calif.-based Charlie Company, realized that they could no longer go forward with a planned live-action shoot around which they had centered the new season’s campaign.

So instead, Charlie Company pivoted to a CGI-driven vision. The only live-action required was lead actress Catherine Bell recording the final sequence from her home using sanitized equipment. All of the other footage and photography was pulled from the upcoming season, and the spot was produced with the entire team working remotely.

Good Witch, which follows the life of modern-day witch Cassie Nightingale (Bell), returns to Hallmark Channel for season six on Sunday, May 3 at 9/8 c.
