At long last, Better Call Saul finally seems to be catching up to its spiritual parent, Breaking Bad.

AMC’s teaser for season four prominently features Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) standing outside his fast-food chain, Los Pollos Hermanos, and calmly explaining, “now is not a good time,” following a sequence of gunshots and dead bodies.

The character will have more of a leading role when the show returns. Meanwhile, Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) takes his steps into the criminal world—putting his future as a lawyer and his relationship with Kim (Rhea Seehorn)in jeopardy—as the death of this brother Chuck catalyses his transformation into Saul Goodman. Chuck’s death also deeply affects Kim and his former colleague Howard (Patrick Fabian), putting them further at odds.

Better Call Saul returns August 6 on AMC.
