The series, which the Hollywood Foreign Press Association named best comedy at this year’s Golden Globes, stars Michael Douglas, who also won a Globe for best actor in a comedy, and Alan Arkin, who was nominated best supporting actor in a comedy. Nancy Travis and Sarah Baker also star.

The series tells the story of Sandy Kominsky (Douglas), a once A-list actor and his agent, Norman Newlander (Arkin), two friends who find themselves facing the trials of older age together. Travis stars as Kominsky’s girlfriend, and Baker plays his daughter.

The Kominsky Method was created by Lorre, who also executive produces along with Douglas and Al Higgins. The series is produced by Chuck Lorre Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
