Bethesda released a gore-filled trailer for the launch of The Evil Within 2, putting gamers back into the world of Detective Sebastian Castellanos.
Picking up where the first game left off, Sebastian finds out that his daughter Lily didn’t die in a fire years ago, and is actually alive and being used by Mobius to create Union—a new STEM world that can be manipulated by certain people in it. He must enter this beast-filled world to find his daughter.
As Bethesda puts it, “the only way out ... is in.”
The trailer is full of “unspeakable horrors,” hideous creatures and gruesome images typical of the game.
The Evil Within 2 was released Friday, October 13 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
