It’s January 1, 1985. Ronald Reagan has declared it “morning in America,” but it feels like the sun is setting on South Central Los Angeles, where the crack epidemic is in full swing.

Franklin Saint (Damson Idris) is making bank on his neighborhood’s addiction, but, encouraged by the White House, the LAPD is throwing more and more resources at the war on drugs.

In season four of FX’s Snowfall, Saint will have to decide on which side of this war he wants to fight and what it’s all worth to him.

Snowfall was created by the late John Singleton (Boyz n the Hood) as well as Eric Amadio and Dave Andron. It’s executive produced by Andron, Thomas Schlamme, Amadio, Michael London, Trevor Engelson, Leonard Chang, Walter Mosley and Julie DeJoie. Andron serves as showrunner.

Snowfall returns Wednesday, Feb. 24 with two episodes airing back to back on FX at 10 p.m. ET/PT and then premiering the next day on FX on Hulu.
