To get people excited about the second-season premiere of its limited series, Fargo, FX is rolling out the waffle wagon in four cities. Lucky stoppers-by will get to experience some of that Minnesota cheerfulness and food on a stick as helpful vendors hand out their sticky fare.

Thanks a lot, FX, we were already hungry and there’s no waffle wagon in sight.

The waffle wagon’s (say that three times fast) journey started in Los Angeles on Emmy weekend, Sept. 20, and will continue to Chicago on Oct. 2, where people can find it at Priztker Park from 9:30 am to 3:30 p.m. It will then show up at Boston’s City Hall on Wednesday, Oct. 7, from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (waffles for happy hour, anyone?) and then make its way to New York City on Friday, Oct 9, where hungry Fargo fans can find it at Bryant Park from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

In addition to the Waffle Wagon, Fargo is also partnering with local television stations in numerous cold-weather markets to promote winter safety by encouraging viewers to keep emergency supplies in their cars. Winter Survival Kits featuring Fargo-branded blankets, mittens, flashlights, first-aid kits and other items are being used to demonstrate the critical gear motorists need for roadside safety in cold and snowy conditions.

Season two of Fargo takes the show back to 1979, following Molly Iverson’s (season one’s Allison Tolman) state trooper dad, Lou, played by Patrick Wilson. He and his sheriff father-in-law (Ted Danson) are investigating a case involving a local crime family’s involvement with a major mob syndicate. Somewhat like Fargo season 1, a seemingly innocuous couple (Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons) get caught in the middle.

Fargo is executive produced by Noah Hawley, Joel and Ethan Coen, Warren Littlefield and John Cameron. The show is produced by MGM Television and FX Production.
