As FX prepares to premiere its new X-Men spinoff series Legion on Feb. 8, an augmented reality art experience is being launched in New York City along with five augmented reality murals which will be seen in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

The three-day New York art exhibit, called “Legion Where?House,” features original art by renowned artists, including exclusive art that will be made available to fans in 56 comics shops throughout the U.S.

“Comic lovers around the country can access the headspace of one of the world’s most powerful mutants and embrace the fractured reality of this new original series through one-of-a-kind experiences presented by FX Networks,” according to FX.

The five augmented reality murals “will reveal the power of David Haller’s mind.”

Those who find the murals can download the Blippar app, “then aim and frame the art to watch the power of Legion come to life.”

The locations for the murals are: Los Angele, Calif., at Hollywood Boulevard & Vine Street; San Francisco, Calif., at Fillmore Street & Union Street; Brooklyn, N.Y., at St. Nicholas Avenue & Jefferson Street; New York, N.Y., at Bleecker Street & Carmine Street; Chicago, Ill., at W. North Avenue & N. Western Avenue.
