Starting this year, Fuse Media is honoring 20 positive, proactive and emerging leaders with the launch of the Future History Class of 2020.

The campaign expands the brand’s Future History franchise, with four Future History makers honored during each of the following months: Black History Month in February; Women’s History Month in March; Asian Pacific American Heritage Month in May, LGBTQ Pride Month in June and National Hispanic Heritage Month in September.

To kick things off, Fuse named four honorees for Future Black History Class of 2020:

—Rapper Megan Thee Stallion, who uses her platform to empower her fans, whether she’s promoting environmental activism with the Hottie Beach Clean Up or offering scholarships.

—Comedian Jaboukie Young-White, who flips the script and makes the political personal. From LGBTQ issues to mental health and climate change, Young-White tweets truth to power while providing much needed comic relief.

—Agent Rich Paul, who has represented such NBA superstars as LeBron James and champions those, like himself, who come from less-privileged backgrounds. By challenging a controversial NCAA rule, he helped tear down a barrier that kept aspiring sports agents without a college degree from breaking into the industry.

—Attorneys and criminal justice advocates Brittany K. Barnett and MiAngel Cody, who fight to abolish mass incarceration. With the Buried Alive Project and The Decarceration Collective, the two have saved lives and reunited families.

“These rising stars are using their voices and influence to propel positive change across our nation, and their impact on society has only just begun,” said Fuse Media CEO Miguel “Mike” Roggero, in a statement. “Core to our company’s mission is the celebration of those committed to empowerment and sowing the seeds of unity throughout our society. It is immensely inspiring to hear the stories of courageous people who are embracing a volatile moment in time to make positive impacts on our world.”

Each of the short-form video vignettes below ran across social media and are voiced by host of Fuse’s Big Boy’s Neighborhood, Big Boy.

Future Black History is sponsored by McDonald’s USA.
