Drive-ins are all the rage this year as marketers figure out how to throw fun but safe experiential activations during the continuing global pandemic.

This weekend, Freeform is joining in the fun with a drive-through experience at Los Angeles’ Heritage Square Museum, “Freeform’s Halloween Road,” in celebration of the network’s annual event, Freeform’s “31 Nights of Halloween.” The already sold-out experience will be tricked out with memorabilia featuring many of Halloween’s most nostalgic movies, including Hocus Pocus, Beetlejuice, Ghostbusters, and Tim Burton’s The Night Before Christmas. Along the way, fans will be treated to themed surprises, interactive experiences, games, live entertainment and photo moments—all from the safety of their own cars.

Those who aren’t in Los Angeles or would just still prefer to stay home can tune in all month long for such Halloween-themed films as The Addams Family, Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride and Hotel Transylvania. New to Freeform’s spooky line-up this year are Hotel Transylvania 2, Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, and Ghostbusters.

The network also created fun graphics-heavy idents to celebrate the season.

Freeform’s 31 Nights of Halloween runs all month, while Freeform’s Halloween Road takes place this weekend.
