Fox lands a one-two punch, with two of its new fall series ranking at the top of a new survey of what shows fans are most anticipating, with Gotham and Mulaney coming in first and second.
The new list, produced by the consumer research firm Survata, shows that the fans and critics aren’t always seeing eye-to-eye on this season’s new programs.
Also coming in on top: Scorpion (CBS), State of Affairs (NBC), Stalker (CBS), How to Get Away with Murder (ABC), and Forever (ABC).
Coming in at number 25 out of 25 is The CW’s Jane The Virgin, which has garnered almost universal praise from critics ahead of its launch on October 13.
Just above Jane is another critical favorite, Black-ish on ABC.
One caveat about the rankings: survey respondents weren’t actually asked about individual show names—Survata didn’t want to introduce bias into the results. So they were just given general descriptions of the series’ premise.
We’ve got the Top 10 and their promos below. Head on over to The Wrap to get the complete ranking.

Brief Take: It’s no secret that critics and viewers are known to diverge in their thoughts. But the presence of so many critical duds at the top of Survata’s fan excitement rankings may indicate that Hollywood’s marketing teams have earned their pay this fall.
