There’s Major League, there’s Minor League, then there’s Pecos League, where players get paid $50 a week for the last chance, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get seen by a scout and play in the big leagues. Pecos League is made up of eight teams across the American Southwest and Fox Sports’ new series will follow these teams as they follow their dreams of making it big.
“There’s so many guys that get unnoticed. It’s so easy to fall through the cracks,” said Trinidad Triggers outfielder Sam DiMatteo. “But how are you going to know if you don’t go after it? There’s always a chance. It’s a small chance, so I plan on going until the wheels absolutely fall off.”
