Fox International Channels Asia announced Thursday that it has renewed its pact with Tennis Australia to carry the Australian Open in Asia.

As part of the deal, the Australian Open will be broadcast in three local languages—Thai, Bahasa Malaysia, and Bahasa Indonesia—for the first time, starting in 2015. FIC already carries the tournament in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.

Fox Sports now broadcasts three of the four tennis Grand Slam tournaments, including The Championship, Wimbledon and the French Open.

“The Australian Open is one of the most celebrated events in the annual sports calendar and we are very pleased to further strengthen our relationship with Tennis Australia with this renewal. We are committed to further expand the audience base for the property by making it more locally relevant, engaging and entertaining for fans across Asia,” said Rohit D’Silva, SVP of Content & Communications at Fox International Channels Asia’s sports division.

Fox has broadcast the Australian Open for the past 16 years, with Tennis pro Vijay Amritraj and presenter Alan Wilkins are anchoring this year’s coverage.

The territories covered in the deal include most of East and Southeast Asia aside from China and Japan.
