FOX Sports upped Chris Hannan to the newly created post of Executive Vice President of Communications and Integration, the channel announced Wednesday.
In his new role Hannan, a 16-year FOX vet, will oversee FOX Sports public relations and corporate communications teams. He will report to FOX Sports Co-Presidents and COOs Randy Freer and Eric Shanks.
Hannan, who was previously SVP of FOX Sports Media Group, most recently oversaw marketing for FOX Sports Regional Networks.
“Chris continues to be someone we turn to when we need to get things done,” said Freer.
He joined FOX Sports in 1997, and helped spearhead the development of the FOX Creative University program, which now invites students on 20 campuses to help shape and create FOX Sports promos.
