In a show of faith in its new comedy, Fox has moved “Enlisted” to 9 p.m. on Fridays from its original 9:30 timeslot, switching with “Raising Hope,” currently in its fourth season.
Starting this week, “Enlisted” will follow “Bones” on Fridays. Fox has moved around the day’s schedule as a result of the new comedy’s promising ratings despite its Friday slot. Its original airing garnered only 2 million viewers, but that number increased 86% with delayed viewing. Fox also hopes that using the stronger “Bones” as a lead-in will work to improve ratings for “Enlisted.”
Fox also has seen a ratings bump in its cop comedy “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” following its Golden Globe win for Best TV Series, Musical or Comedy. This week the Andy Samberg series rose 36% in the 18-49 demographic, making it the show’s highest ratings since its premiere last fall.
