Creative agency Imaginary Forces uses simple images to remind viewers of classic fairy tales in these main titles for CBS All Access’ Tell Me A Story.
Season two of the series, which portrays dark and modern renditions, focuses on the “princess” stories: Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella.
Each story, both within the show and the sequence, offers its own look and color palette. All three become intertwined, as illustrated by thorny branches that grow thicker as the story grows longer, ultimately becoming a sinister family tree. Imaginary Forces Creative Director Karin Fong also drew inspiration from 18th century silhouette paper cuts.
Season two of the series debuted on CBS All Access on Dec. 5.
