PBS is getting ready to premiere its own version of Game of Thrones, although this one took place in real life.

Wolf Hall, premiering April 5, stars Homeland’s Damian Lewis as the infamous King Henry VIII but is really the story of Thomas Cromwell, the ambitious man who rose to prominence and power under King Henry’s reign.

PBS just released new key art and character posters that reflect that notorious power struggle with Cromwell at the center. Posters project a story of family and intrigue that, even though it happened in another era, is as relatable today as it was then.

The main key art, below, unveils the tagline, “Those who’ve been made can be unmade,” with a crown created in blood:

The accompanying portraits of Thomas Cromwell, King Henry VII and Anne Boleyn portray the untrusting time period, examining the true motives of the three most powerful figures of the Tudor era.

Masterpiece on PBS will debut Wolf Hall, the adaptation of Hilary Mantel’s novel, on Sunday, April 5.
