Santa Monica, Calif.-based creative agency Elastic produced the above two-minute brand film for ESPN to raise fans’ temperatures about the NHL’s upcoming season.

Showing the game from both above and below the ice, the film also incorporates sounds, signs and textures from the game of hockey as well logos and colors from many of the league’s 32 teams.

After a 17-year break, the NHL returned to ESPN on Tuesday, Oct. 12 with a double-header between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Tampa Bay Lightning followed by the Seattle Kraken vs the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
