Just as on Netflix’s hit import, Squid Game, 456 are competing for a $4.56 million prize in its reality counterpart, Squid Game: The Challenge – but the difference is no one actually dies when they get eliminated.

Still, the game seems pretty scary, according to the above trailer. Black ink squirts through contestants’ shirts when they lose a challenge – indicating that their time in the game has ended – and later losers drop unexpectedly from a bridge.

According to Netflix, “as they compete through a series of games inspired by the original show – plus surprising new additions – their strategies, alliances, and character will be put to the test while competitors are eliminated around them.”

Squid Game: The Challenge is executive produced by Nicola Brown, Tim Harcourt, John Hay, Toni Ireland, Anna Kidd, Stephen Lambert, Louise Peet, Nia Yemoh and Stephen Yemoh. The Netflix competition series hails from Studio Lambert and The Garden.

Squid Game: The Challenge premieres on Netflix on November 22.
