What happened to waiting for the season premiere to find out whether the main character lived? (Spoiler alert: They always do.) Just last week, Netflix released the trailer for season four of Stranger Things that revealed what everyone suspected: Hopper lives!

Trying to keep things a secret all the way until the premiere seems to be a trend that’s faded in an era where keeping anything under wraps is nearly impossible (hats off to you, Game of Thrones).

In the above teaser for season three of BBC America’s Killing Eve, we learn that MI-6 agent Eve (Sandra Oh) is indeed alive after having been shot by assassin Villanelle (Jodie Comer) in the final episode of season two. That really should surprise no one, since Eve is the show’s titular character and since that gunshot was merely a love tap/revenge wound from the psychopathic killer she loves.

This teaser follows another that BBC America released on Valentine’s Day—also known as Villanelle Day.

Killing Eve returns for season three on BBC America and AMC on April 26. The show has already been renewed for season four and earlier this week, BBC America announced that Sex Education’s Laura Neal would serve as that season’s head writer. Killing Eve, which was created by Fleabag’s Phoebe Waller-Bridge, has made a point of putting a new woman in charge each season.

New additions to the cast include Dame Harriet Walter (Succession, The End),Danny Sapani (Harlots), Gemma Whelan (Game of Thrones), Camille Cottin (Call My Agent), Steve Pemberton (Inside No. 9), Raj Bajaj (A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding), Turlough Convery (Ready Player One), Pedja Bjelac (Harry Potter) and Evgenia Dodina (One Week and a Day).

Suzanne Heathcote (Fear the Walking Dead) serves as lead writer and executive producer for season three. Other executive producers are Sally Woodward Gentle, Lee Morris, Waller-Bridge, Gina Mingacci, Damon Thomas, Jeff Melvoin, Heathcote and Oh. Nige Watson also serves as producer on the series. Killing Eve is produced by Sid Gentle Films Ltd. for BBC America and is distributed by Endeavor Content. The series is based on Luke Jennings’ Codename Villanelle novellas.
