ESPN has promoted marketing veteran Seth Ader to the post of VP of marketing, where he will continue to oversee main franchises as well as all league properties on the network.
Ader has been with the company for more than 10 years, previously working as senior director in the marketing department, where he was responsible for the This is SportsCenter campaign as well as sports properties including the NFL, NBA, MLB and the three most recent FIFA World Cup events.
In his new role as VP of marketing, Ader will continue to work with ESPN’s biggest brands, including the NFL, NBA, MLB, MLS, all golf properties, tennis, the TCS New York City Marathon, Special Olympics World Games and Little League World Series.
“Seth is a mature and thoughtful executive with keen marketing and creative skills,” said Aaron Taylor, ESPN’s SVP of marketing. “He is a strong manager who inspires creativity in his team and is a champion of good ideas.”
