Leading up to this summer’s FIFA World Cup, ESPN is teaming with graphic designers and agencies to make the most of the international event. Its latest TV spot, “Time Zone,” shows how dedicated fans around the world “have to adjust their schedule to Brazil’s,” gathering at local pubs, sneaking out or shirking work duties to get home to the TV as soon as possible.
Brazilian designer Cristiano Siqueria and Wieden + Kennedy NY also partnered with the sportscaster to create individual team posters. Each one identifies stylized soccer stars with their team colors in a comic-style look.
