Beloved Sesame Street star Elmo is hosting his very own late-night TV show on HBO Max, complete with celebrities sitting for interviews and joking around in skits, and an announcer in Cookie Monster.
Except the catch is that it’s the Not-Too-Late Show because Elmo’s bedtime is 7:30 p.m. (Editor’s note: So is mine.)
To create this clips-based trailer for the new series, HBO Creative Services partnered with Silver Springs, Md.-based AlterEgo.
“It was really exciting to collaborate on a project for the launch. To have the opportunity to work with Elmo, well that’s just an 80’s baby’s dream!” said AlterEgo Associate Creative Director Erica Kern in a statement.
The trailer focuses on all of the celebrities who are visiting the show, including Jimmy Fallon, Jason Sudeikis, Blake Lively, the Jonas Brothers and more.
The Not-Too-Late Show debuts with HBO Max on May 27.
