Her name is all over your TV guide - but get ready to see even more from the host with the most.

Ellen’s Design Challenge premiered as a ratings hit for HGTV, and the recent broadcast debuts of Repeat After Me and One Big Happy are garnering plenty of attention for the woman already with a hit show on daytime.

Through her production company, A Very Good Production, DeGeneres will have a total of five shows on air at some point this year. Ellen’s Design Challenge premiered on HGTV, the hidden-camera comedy Repeat After Me is airing now on ABC and her sitcom One Big Happy recently debuted on NBC.

At least two more projects, soon to be announced, will come this year, along with her book on design, casino games, app and, of course, ellentube, all part of her growing multiplatform brand.

With her syndicated show and dedicated social media following, DeGeneres has carved out quite a niche for herself in the television business. According to TheWrap, a large part of her success thus far has been due to her relatability and her authenticity.

Her Twitter account currently has more than 41 million followers, retweeting and favoriting every #TBT, #RiddleMeTuesday and #ClassicJoke Friday as she posts them.

Forbes recently named DeGeneres the fifth most powerful celebrity in the world - just behind Oprah. Before her, Oprah may have been known as the queen of TV, but that tide has changed.

Her Oscars selfie that broke records on Twitter also indicated her growing influence in the entertainment industry, along with her ability to stay relevant and fresh in a tough syndicated environment.

Since Oprah left TV in 2011, many hosts have tried to fill the void on TV, but many have failed. Among the syndicated stars, DeGeneres remains the one on top, consistently in the top three with Live with Kelly and Michael and Dr. Phil. It’s her avid online following that helps beat her competitors elsewhere, with her show’s site getting more than 120 million page views monthly, ellentube almost to 100 million video views and her YouTube page at a steady 11 million subscribers.

So what’s next for the TV empress?

On top of her syndicated show and three primetime shows, she also has a half-hour comedy starring Idina Menzel in the works as well as a docuseries for Travel Channel.
