​El Rey Network announced Tuesday that it has tapped New York-based Campfire as its creative agency as the new 24-hour cable channel gears up to launch later this month.

In addition, LA-based TheAudience will help spearhead social media efforts for El Rey, while Austin’s Fons PR has been hired to create customized social media marketing assets.

“We’re pleased to partner with an outstanding team of savvy marketers who understand the power of compelling storytelling in a multi-platform world,” said Antoinette Alfonso Zel, El Rey Network’s COO. “The combined firepower of Campfire, theAudience and Fons PR will make El Rey a formidable marketing force.”

Yesterday, the Latino-focused cabler announced a trio of hires for its marketing team. Chad Blankenship was appointed VP of consumer marketing, Clarissa Colmenero was appointed executive director of public relations and communications, and Jose Antonio Hernandez was named VP of trade marketing.
