Children (as well as their parents) did not take it well when Nickelodeon’s “Dora the Explorer” and “SpongeBob SquarePants” left Netflix last week, but not to worry, they’re back! They just moved over to Amazon.

After Netflix let their streaming deal with Viacom fall away last week, Amazon moved quickly to nab the rights to hundreds of Viacom shows, including Nickelodeon hits “Blue’s Clues” and “Dora the Explorer” as well as series from MTV and Comedy Central like “Awkward” and “Tosh.0.”

Brief Take: With this deal, Amazon becomes the only location to find a majority of Viacom’s library, and it certainly helps its in quest to add to its existing library of content as it continues building up its original series.
