Roku will debut its first original animated series with the irreverent Doomlands coming to The Roku Channel on Friday, January 28.

Roku acquired the series when it purchased Quibi’s library one year ago. Created by Josh O’Keefe and executive produced by Josh Bowen, the series follows Danny Doom (Mark Little) and aspiring bartender Lhandi (Kayla Lorette) as they sling drinks across a barren and dangerous wasteland in their mobile pub, The Oasis.

Doomlands is produced by Look Mom! Productions, a Blue Ant Media company. It’s written by O’Keefe, Roger Bainbridge, Brandon Hackett, Lorette and Little. Lee Porter and O’Keefe served as co-showrunners. It is directed by O’Keefe.
