Netflix has revealed the season two trailer for its drug cartel drama, Narcos: Mexico.
The spot shows the arrival of DEA agent Walt Breslin (Scoot McNairy) who lands in 1980s Mexico to pursue Félix Gallardo (Diego Luna) and avenge Kiki Camarena (Michael Peña) following last season’s incidents.
However, Félix won’t go down without a fight as he sets out to rebuild his empire.
“The Colombians are no longer in charge. It’s my turn,” he says. “The Americans can try to stop us, but they will fail.”
“You want to dismantle an empire? Divide it,” Guillermo Calderoni (Julio Cesar Cedillo) advises Breslin.
On Tuesday, Netflix released this season’s key art, which features mirrored images of Gallardo and Breslin.

The trailer also follows a teaser from earlier this month, which highlights the discontent within the drug organization.

Narcos: Mexico serves as a spinoff to Narcos, which chronicled the rise and fall of drug kingpin Pablo Escobar. Mexico traces the origins of the Mexican drug war, including the birth of the Guadalajara cartel. All 10 episodes of season two arrive Thursday, Feb. 13 on Netflix.
