Digital marketing agency Definition 6 has hired Dani Newman as vice president/account director, PR services.

In her new role, Newman will bring her 30 years of related experience to help build the agency’s co-op satellite media tour (SMT) practice.

“Our SMT packages deliver our clients’ stories to television and radio audiences across the country,” said Rich Quigley, Definition 6’s SVP, group director for PR Services, in a statement. “…we know that her touch will greatly enhance and expand that offering for our clients.”

Newman has spent her career partnering with major consumer brands, public relations firms, cable networks and nonprofits to tell their stories and help them stand above their competition. Prior to Definition 6, Newman was president and founder of two SMT/production companies, THUNK Media and DSN Communications.

“After many years spent building my own broadcast PR and production companies, I’m looking forward to bringing my special skills to Definition 6 where I’ll be working with a creative, sophisticated team of PR and marketing professionals serving top brands,” Newman said in a statement.

“Over the years, Dani has demonstrated her ability to successfully build businesses that provide true value to her clients,” said Jason Rockman, president of Definition 6. “We are excited to add her entrepreneurial energy and skills to Definition 6’s co-op media tour practice.”
