HBO released the official trailer for Deadwood: The Movie, and despite being nearly 15 years since the series came to a wrap, not much has changed in the wild west.

As characters reunite to mark the official statehood of South Dakota, the rivalry between Marshal Seth Bullock and saloon owner Al Swearengen is as tense as ever. The trailer also puts the film’s chaos on full display, showcasing an abundance of aimed pistols, gruesome deaths and colorful language (to no one’s surprise).

The series aired on HBO from 2004-2006 before being canceled after its third season. Set in the 1870s, it focused on the townspeople of Deadwood, S.D., as the Gold Rush ignited greed, power struggles and bloodshed.

Most of the original cast returns for the two-hour film, including Timothy Olyphant, Ian McShane, Molly Parker, Paula Malcomson, John Hawkes, Anna Gunn, Dayton Callie, Brad Dourif, Robin Weigert, William Sanderson, and more. Jade Pettyjohn joins the cast for the film, portraying a character named Caroline.

Deadwood:The Movie arrives on HBO May 31 at 8/7c.
