Viola Davis is Michelle Obama, Gillian Anderson is Eleanor Roosevelt and Michelle Pfeiffer is Betty Ford in Showtime’s 10-episode anthology series The First Lady premiering Sunday, April 17.

To get the word out about the show, Showtime will roll out its out-of-home marketing campaign over Presidents Day weekend with digital projections airing near federal landmarks in New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles and Chicago.

The series also stars Kiefer Sutherland as President Franklin D. Roosevelt, Aaron Eckhart as President Gerald Ford, Dakota Fanning as Susan Elizabeth Ford, Regina Taylor as Michelle Obama’s mother, Marian Shields Robinson, Lily Rabe and Jayme Lawson. Guest stars are O-T Fagbenle as President Barack Obama as well as Judy Greer, Ellen Burstyn, Jackie Earle Haley, Maria Dizzia and Kate Mulgrew.

Aaron Cooley created the series, which is executive produced by Cathy Schulman, who is also showrunner, as well as Susanne Bier (The Undoing), who also directs. Davis and her husband Julius Tennon also executive produce through their production banner JuVee Productions as well as Andrew Wang, Aaron Cooley, Pavlina Hatoupis, Alyson Feltes, Jeff Gaspin va Gaspin Media and Brad Kaplan via Link Entertainment.
