CW Seed’s “Backpackers” was recently picked up for a broadcast debut this July, and the digital studio wants to fill its slot with more talent that has the same kind of potential.
The CW Network’s digital studio has launched its series “LA Rangers,” which follows two park rangers who want more out of life. And leading into summer, the studio has four more series waiting to debut as well as mini webisodes for the network show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”
Other planned summer series for the digital arm include the “Veronica Mars” spinoff “Play it Again, Dick;” as well as “The Kelly Cutrone Project” and “The Real Backpackers,” a companion series to the broadcast show “Backpackers.” These will join the returning lineup of “Husbands,” “The P.E.T. Squad Files, “Very Mallory” and “CelebTV.”
