Creative agency Nutmeg has acquired design team FAC5, previously housed at Lorne Michael’s Broadway Video, and renamed the group of four NTMG Design.
The team of four—Executive Creative Producer Doug LeBow, Executive Creative Director Fred Salkind, Creative Director David Rogers and Art Director Karolina Dawson— have won Emmy and PromaxBDA awards for their creative, which includes main titles, show packaging, experiential and event design, promos and image campaigns.
“As our clients and the marketplace shift to engage end users, the addition of a full-service design team allows us to offer all aspects of content creation under one roof,” said Nutmeg Executive Producer Laura Vick in a statement. “Nutmeg is a long-established network promo powerhouse and branded content creator. We can now assist at the inception of an idea to help create complete visual experiences—show opens, trade shows, corporate interiors or digital billboards.”
Collectively, the group has worked on such projects as the Nickelodeon HALO Awards, Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, The Emmys, the 100th anniversary of the Indy 500 for ESPN, HBO’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, NFL packaging for CBS Sports and many others.
“We look at these new design capabilities as both a new frontier unto itself, and as yet another component of what we’re already doing—telling compelling stories,” said Nutmeg Executive Creative Director Dave Rogan also in a statement. “Nothing at Nutmeg is created in a vacuum, so these new areas of design crossing over into an interactive web environment, for example, is a natural.”
