Conan has been to Chicago and Dallas, he’s been to San Diego Comic-Con, he’s even filmed in Cuba. But his latest trip will take him where no late-night TV host has gone before: Armenia.

Traveling with his assistant who is of Armenian descent, Sona Movsesian, O’Brien is filming an episode set to air Nov. 10 on TBS, its mobile platforms and across Team Coco’s social channels. Both Conan and Movsesian will be traveling in the country for the first time.

This means that he will be the first American late-night host ever to film his show in Armenia, a milestone not unlike becoming the first television host to film in Cuba in 50 years after President Obama announced new “normalized” relations in March.

“I think it’s every boss’s responsibility to take their assistant back to their ancestral land,” said Conan. “That’s why I’m going to make sure my next assistant was born in a five-star resort in Tuscany.”

TBS added that CONAN is planning several more international locations and opportunities for 2016.
