TBS’s Conan will go international for the sixth time in two years as host Conan O’Brien travels to Mexico City for his latest primetime special Conan Without Borders: Made in Mexico. The hour-long special is set to premiere Wednesday, March 1,

Given the controversies surrounding President Trump’s reported plans to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border and the current state of the U.S.-Mexico relationship, O’Brien has decided to “strike a positive note” by heading to Mexico City, where he’ll “outsource his show by shooting his latest Conan Without Borders special with the help of an all-Mexican staff, crew, guests and studio audience,” the host said on his show in a promotional clip.

“Although I’m eager to make a show in Mexico, if the U.S. government meets my demand for $100 million in tax incentives, I will consider relocating production to Akron.” said O’Brien in a statement.

O’Brien’s recent remotes in countries such as Cuba, Armenia and South Korea, not only brought in a burst of creative energy for the host, but also a bump in ratings and increased traffic on Conan’s social media outlets such as YouTube. Most recently he traveled to Berlin, where his experiences ranged from meeting a dominatrix to visiting a refugee shelter in the city’s decommissioned Tempelhof Airport. The host also was the first American late-night personality to shoot in Cuba in more than 50 years, and to host a show from Armenia and South Korea.

Conan Without Borders: Made In Mexico airs Wednesday, March 1 at 10 p.m. ET on TBS.
