Composer Geoff Wilkinson, best known for composing Us3’s “Cantaloop (Flip Fantasia), is joining Alibi Music’s roster of professional composers, the Los Angeles-based production music company said.

Wilkinson discovered Alibi Music online and after listening to several of the catalog’s albums, he realized he could provide his brand of hip hop and jazz to fill a void that lacked in the overall collection.

Wilkinson’s debut album for Alibi, Jazz Hop, fuses hip-hop with jazz to create tracks for everything from lifestyle TV programs to product commercials. Tracks are described as “chilled,” “mellow,” “uptempo” and “grooving.”

Wilkinson’s group, Us3, sold millions worldwide with its debut album, Hand on the Torch, and its hit debut single, “Cantaloop (Flip Fantasia).” Us3 released nine albums over the next 20 years and toured the globe with an eight-piece live band.

He’s also composed title credits for such films as Get Shorty and The Flintstones and produced and remixed tracks for other artists.

Founded in 2011, Alibi’s production music has been used in such projects as a promo for HBO Max’s “Stylish with Jenna Lyons,” a trailer for “Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War,” and a national commercial for Tylenol, among others.
