“Our newly expanded team of producers adds to the incredible talent pool already at Compadre,” said Jessica Scharer, head of production at Compadre, in a statement. “We are excited to work with this team of accomplished and enthusiastic producers that bring their own unique experiences and skill sets to the table.”

Joining as a senior producer, Curliano has spearheaded everything from full-scale video productions to bespoke augmented-reality experiences, working with such agencies as Media.Monks, RPA and SuperBloom. While in-house at Media.Monks, Curliano collaborated with Meta to produce Facebook Connect 2020, the brand’s first-ever live on-platform conference. He also worked to develop and execute social-first campaigns for Instagram, WhatsApp, Oculus, LinkedIn and TikTok’s 2020 Pride Celebration. At RPA, he was a digital producer working for Honda on ads, animated videos and a long-form documentary about its first automobile imported into the United States.

Curliano says he values the “nitty gritty hands-on production work” of producing, which is what interested him in Compadre.

“The work that they had done, plus their company culture and hustle for cool projects—I had to find a way to join,” Curliano said.

In addition to producing, Curliano spends his time volunteering at the Humane Society, film festivals and several LGBTQAI+ charities.

Jimenez is an experienced producer, specializing in A/V trailers for video games, genre film and television. He first got immersed in working on AAA game trailers for Destiny, Call of Duty and Assassin’s Creed at Ant Farm, and then cut his teeth at Trailer Park producing trailers for Warner Brothers, Lionsgate, and Fox.

Jimenez also worked as a copywriter and on-air content producer for Robert Rodriguez’s El Rey Network where he curated promotions for the Grindhouse, Lucha Underground, and The Shaw Brothers Kung Fu properties.

“I’ve been following Compadre’s work for years, and I was like, ‘Oh, I see what these guys are doing here’, especially with Jessica Garcia-Scharer, who I know from El Rey, working as head of production,” said Jimenez. “I love shepherding and growing teams – working with new people and developing great relationships with the editors. That’s what I’m looking forward to at Compadre.”

Hithe brings experience on both the client and post-house sides. She produced the finishing for The Big Conn, a true crime docu-series for Apple TV Plus. After graduating from Temple University, her commercial production career began at Fox Sports, where she produced on-air spots for the Premier Boxing Champions brand campaign, as well as the Pacquiao vs Thurman bout. Hithe also produced the BIG3 launch, which won a Promax Silver for “Best Use Of An Athlete - Sports.”

“I’m very persistent, organized, and detailed, which is paramount to being a good producer,” Hithe said. “There’ll always be a curveball, so it’s important to adjust your plan of attack quickly and smartly.”

Rhodes rounds out Compadre’s team of newcomers. His commercial production credits include campaigns for Pizza Hut, starring comedian Craig Robinson, health food meal kit Amazing Grass and ESPN’s MLB: Home Run Derby. He also has his own production company, Peacoat Productions, where he flexes his creative muscles by creating short films focusing on gritty narratives and dark comedy.

“Coming up with a narrative the audience will be compelled by and pulling together different moving pieces, that’s the work I love,” he said.
