To promote the final episodes of Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown, CNN Creative Marketing produced a series of spots that celebrate the late celebrity chef, his show, and his influence.

The launch spot (above) is set to the song “Long Slow Goodbye” by Queens of the Stone Age and features both Josh Homme and Mark Lanegan, who also perform the Parts Unknown theme song.

A second spot offers a bittersweet meditation on travel, paired with striking images of Bourdain from the

previous 11 seasons.

And in a third CNN’s W. Kamau Bell provides narration to promote the show’s Kenya episode. Bell traveled to Kenya to shoot the episode with Bourdain in early 2018.

There was no one like Anthony Bourdain, and there was no show like Parts Unknown, says CNN.
